About Capybara Merge

capybaramerge.com is a small website with one aim: to let you play Capybara Merge the moment the page opens. There is nothing to install, no account to create and no sign-up screen before the game.

The game

Capybara Merge is a drop-and-merge puzzle. You drop small capybaras into a box, and two of the same kind merge into a bigger one when they touch. There are 11 kinds to grow, from the Pup to theKing Capybara. One game takes a few minutes, and it plays the same with a mouse, a touch screen or a keyboard.

The capybaras fall, slide and pile up under a small physics engine written for this game. The same rules and the same physics run on every device, and your best score stays in your browser.

How the site is built

The site is a set of static pages. The text you read is plain HTML, and the pages use your system fonts, so they load quickly even on a slow connection. The only script on the home page is the game itself, together with the Google Analytics consent and loading script. You can read how we handle data on the privacy page.
